Kenneth J. Corbet
Dr. Corbet certified in Occupational Medicine in 1989. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences, Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary.
He served as a member and chair of the Examining Committee in occupational medicine for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada from 1991-1999. He taught occupational medicine in University of Calgary’s medical education programs from 1990-2013. He has held executive and continuing education roles in both the Occupational and Environmental Medical Association of Canada (OEMAC) and the Occupational Medicine Specialists of Canada (OMSOC).
Dr. Corbet provided outpatient clinical consultations in occupational medicine with the University of Calgary Medical Group from 1986-2008. Dr. Corbet has consulted to large organizations in the rehabilitation, rail, oil and gas, petrochemical sectors and small businesses in a variety of industries. He served on the Transportation Appeals Tribunal of Canada from 2011-2014.
